So we do not have elegant clocktowers any more.People learned so much to have wristwatches and a fashion statement was born.All types of watches came on the scene.And lots of people became famous and earned their cash.There were watches even on Pens.The digital ages added to the wonder of time keeping.All the while the debate raged if there should be a 24 hour day or a ten hour day.Many places in the world , the time stood still or people and places went back in time.All kinds of errors happen due to timekeeping.Then the onset of computers came on.Even this blog is time sensitive.We watch the time from the tiny bar on the bottom of the navigation screen.And emails are time based.So to show the time gone by, the postal service has issued watch tower themed souvenir sheet.
